Condolence for late Khairul Hakimi
It is a great sorrow that we have received very sad news that one of our UTP’s friends has passed away today, 9th March, Wednesday. He is Khairul Hakimi bin Ismail from Mechanical Engineering Department who is currently in final year 1st Semester.
The accident happened at kilometer 70 from Gua Musang while he was on his way back to Terengganu with his three other friends. Others with him involved with the accident were Hazwan Arif, Khairul Azhar and Khairul Amin. Khairul Azhar and Khairul Amin received minor injuries only while Hazwan Arif broke his thigh bone.
According to a source, he was rushed to the nearest hospital, Gua Musang Hospital, Kelantan.
According to the witnesses, the cause of the accident said to be from a car coming from the opposite direction while they were going uphill. The car rushed down the hill and unable to control the car until it went to the next lane and crushed Khairul Hakimi’s car.
